Moi aussi, je regarde is an experimental film which portrays widely reproduced modernist residential building the unité d’habitation in Marseille developed by Atelier Le Corbusier (1947 – 1952). It houses 337 apartments with 1200 inhabitants and is one of the finest examples of vertical urbanism. The film explores the building through the stories and gestures of its female inhabitants in an attempt to give the building its own agency to not only be looked at but to empower to look back in the masculine world of modernity.
