Two artists found a common point in Charles Baudelaire’s poetry – his introspective of describing our shared treasure, the sea. The poems have been chosen from the book Les Fleurs du mal (Kurja õied) translated by Tõnu Õnnepalu and were read in Estonian and French.
Performative poetry reading La vie antérieure (Eelmine elu) took place by the installation Apparition (Ilmutis) at the seashore of Kärdla city. The event continued into The Night of Ancient Bonfire that was also the last evening for Apparition, before it disappeared from the seaside.
